• However, if you place an AI PostScript file into a page layout program, you only get a gray box with no indication of how it looks.
• Second format: Encapsulated PostScript Format (EPS or EPSF).
• Takes longer to save and creates bigger files. But, when placed in page layout program, it gives you a graphic image that lets you see how cropping or resizing is changing your illustration.
• The third format, EPSF for IBM PC, lets you place AI files in PC PageMaker or Ventura Publisher, or other PC layout programs that accept EPSF.
